Latin America specialist Contours Travel has changed hands, with Founder Ted Dziadkiewicz passing the baton after 50 years to new owners and long-term employees Heather Poppelier and Ines Vivot.The new ownership took effect on 1 July, with Senior Travel Specialist Poppelier and Product Manager Vivot stepping into their new responsibilities with immediate effect.“This feels like a natural step, both for us and for the business, and we are really motivated to continue nurturing and developing our reputation as Australia’s leading Latin America specialists” Poppelier said.“With Heather based in Melbourne and me in Buenos Aires, we are incredibly well placed to manage operations round-the-clock, as well as offering exceptional service to clients on the ground”, Vivot added.Dziadkiewicz will remain connected to the business, acting in an advisory capacity in the short term.The team at Contours Travel will focus on improving experiential and luxury travel offerings across Latin America, as well as increasing agent engagement through workshops, webinars and events throughout 2025 and beyond.
