The rooms & suites of Fiji’s newest five-star resort, Vatu Talei – The Jewel on Denarau Island in Nadi have been unveiled with the property still on track for completion in late 2026.Vatu Talei will feature 127 rooms, 30 two-bedroom apartments and 18 exclusive penthouse suites. Drawing inspiration from the symbolism of vonu (the Fijian word for turtle) and the enduring myth of the Sleeping Giant, the interior design team has imagined a new story — one of exploration, return, and renewal,” Vatu Talei’s website revealed. “Each room becomes a part of that narrative: a place where movement meets stillness, and where every guest finds space to pause and belong.”The guest rooms will feature a warm, neutral palette with rainforest greens, soft browns and oceanic blues to reflect the local landscape. Custom-crafted furnishings blend soft wood tones with darker timber touches, while lighting is soft and ambient.
