Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Keystone Resorts, has officially unveiled Fairmont Udaipur Palace, a sprawling estate set atop the ancient Aravali Hills, marking the Accor-owned brand’s third Indian property.With 327 rooms and suites, eight dining venues, seven event spaces, and a 12,000 sq. ft. wellness sanctuary, the palace acts as an entire realm where “majestic design, immersive rituals, the romance of the hills and rejuvenation of the senses” coexist.“This new palace reflects Fairmont’s commitment to honouring the spirit of each location we enter, blending global luxury with deep local resonance,” said Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles & Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. “We are proud to bring the Fairmont experience to Udaipur and to be part of the city’s enduring legacy as a jewel in India’s cultural crown.”The architecture draws inspiration from Mewar’s great fortresses, weaving traditional craftsmanship into every element.

“Our endeavour was never just to build a hotel — it was to craft a world,” said Somesh Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of ROCKWOOD Hotels & Keystone. “From the hand-carved jharokhas to the grandeur of our architecture, every detail is a tribute to India’s royal heritage and Rajasthan’s timeless artistry.”The palace features highlights including the regal Jewel of Udaipur Suite as well as culinary venues like Bahaar, Dahaad, and Sitara.With over 1,40,000 sq. ft. of event space, the palace is also poised to become a top-tier venue for grand celebrations. Highlights include Jewel, one of the country’s largest ballrooms, and Mehfil, a ceremonial courtyard featuring over 550 hand-carved marble columns.“At Fairmont Udaipur Palace, our vision was to create more than a hotel — a living palace that stirs emotion, celebrates culture and offers experiences that linger in memory,” said Vishrut Gupta, General Manager of the property.
