A deal has been struck for the construction of the already announced sister ship for AmaWaterways’s AmaMagna, with the new vessel to be built in Croatia by Vahali Shipyards. The new ship will be a “state-of-the-art masterpiece” and will be twice as wide as the industry standard, according to the Croatian Register of Shipping Inland Navigation Division.“While standard inland waterway cruisers typically measure 135 meters in length and 11.45 meters in width, this groundbreaking ship will feature an impressive length of 135 meters and an extraordinary width of 22 meters,” it said.“This project marks a significant milestone for us – our first of this kind – and we couldn’t be prouder.”
