Goldman Travel Group this afternoon confirmed it will acquire an initial 50% stake in fellow Virtuoso agency Main Beach Travel on Queensland’s Gold Coast and will assume full ownership of the business after three years.The acquisition adds Main Beach Travel’s 30-member team to the Goldman Group’s portfolio, enhancing Goldman’s status as Australia’s top independent luxury travel group. Main Beach Travel Founders Mike and Mandy Dwyer remain active joint venture partners, effective 1 October 2025.“We are just thrilled to join forces with Mike and Mandy & the Main Beach Travel team,” said Anthony Goldman, Joint Managing Director of Goldman Travel Group. “I have admired Mandy and Mike for many years, having served with Mike on Virtuoso’s AU/NZ Advisory Board.
