With the festive season already on the horizon, Explora Journeys has unveiled its Currents of Connection offering Caribbean end-of-year adventures aboard EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II.‘Inspired by the ocean currents that link distant lands, Currents of Connection offers guests a symbolic way to close the year and welcome the next, according to Explora.“It’s about more than just travel – it’s about pausing, reflecting, and reconnecting – with loved ones, with ourselves, and with the wider world,” it said.

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve will be celebrated with journeys marked by personalised touches and immersive moments aboard seasonally decorated ships. Combining traditions with innovation, the voyages will offer guests everything from gingerbread house making and holiday feasts to wellness sessions focused on gratitude and intention.Evenings will feature sunset views, live music, starlit movie nights and mixology classes, while days promise enriching onshore adventures. Destination ports include the Magen’s Bay in St. Thomas, Terre-de-Haut in Guadeloupe and Bridgetown, Barbados. Other highlights include Fort-de-France, Martinique, and Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis.Voyages range from seven to 17 nights, offering a blend of cultural, historical and culinary exploration.
