The first phase of National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions‘ 2027–28 deployment has been revealed, with the schedule featuring its return to Oceania after a two-year hiatus.These expeditions are guided by seasoned naturalists, historians, scientists, and National Geographic Experts, whose knowledge brings each destination to life.“Our 2027–28 deployment reflects everything our guests value about traveling with us: extraordinary access, thoughtful pacing, and a deep respect for the environments and cultures we visit,” Lindblad Expeditions Chief Expedition Officer Trey Byus said.“Every itinerary has been crafted with care—whether it’s a guest favorite or a returning route – to offer experiences that are not only awe-inspiring, but also positively impactful.”

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions’s return to Oceania features immersive voyages aboard the National Geographic Resolution. Highlights include the 11-day Pearls of the Pacific: The Society and Tuamotu Islands, and the 18-day Easter Island to Tahiti: Tales of The Pacific, marking a return to Easter Island after four years.In Alaska, the brand will expand its offerings with added departures of its best-selling itineraries, including the eight-day Alaska’s Inside Passage, the 11-day Voyage to the Great Bear Rainforest, and the extended Treasures of the Inside Passage voyages.Other standout experiences include added departures of the 16-day Coastal Japan: Imperial Dynasties and Modern Culture, new perspectives on Europe and the Mediterranean through itineraries like Islands of the Azores: Basalt Peaks to Volcanic Vineyards, and expanded Galápagos options aboard four unique vessels, including the newly acquired National Geographic Delfina.“We believe travel can be a powerful force for good,” said Byus. “Through these voyages, we invite our guests to deepen their connection to the planet, support conservation and communities, and return home with a renewed sense of wonder and purpose.”
