Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and OvoloGroup have announced a partnership that, in the coming months, will see five Ovolo hotels across Australia and Hong Kong join the Wyndham hotel brand. Under the deal, Ovolo Group will continue to own and manage the Ovolo brand.Another part of the partnership, five existing Ovolo hotels (representing over 450 rooms) in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Hong Kong, are expected to join Wyndham’s global portfolio later this fall. Each will be integrated into Wyndham’s sales, marketing and distribution platforms. The five hotels will also participate in the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, which has approximately 120 million enrolled members.
The Ovolo brand’s service ethos is “FUN” (fabulous, unconventional, never boring)—meaning hotels sport bold design, immersive art and music, and experiences like nightly Apéro hour.Among the locations slated to join the Wyndham portfolio:
Ovolo Central, a Wyndham Hotel (41 rooms) – Located in Hong Kong’s central district, near Lan Kwai Fong and SOHO
Ovolo Nishi, a Wyndham Hotel (85 rooms) – Located in the central business district of Canberra, Australia’s capital
Ovolo South Yarra, a Wyndham Hotel (123 rooms) – Set in Melbourne’s fashionable South Yarra neighborhood
Ovolo The Valley, a Wyndham Hotel (103 rooms) – Situated in Brisbane’s lively Fortitude Valley
Ovolo Woolloomooloo, a Wyndham Hotel (100 rooms) – Located on the historic Finger Wharf in Sydney
