Tracey Carter Knox has been appointed to the role of Commercial Director of Sofitel Hotels & Resorts’ flagship Australian property, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.In her previous role as Director of Revenue at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, Carter Knox delivered a strong commercial performance “underpinned by a deep understanding” of revenue strategy, market dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration, according to the hotel’s General Manager Sam Panetta.“Tracey has held her role as Director of Revenue at Sofitel Darling Harbour for the last two years and her performance has shown her capability to lead the hotel’s commercial function at a senior level, ensuring we remain competitive and agile in a fast-moving market,” Panetta said.“Tracey’s promotion is a reflection of her proven track record and the confidence we have in her ability to continue delivering strong business outcomes”.Carter Knox has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry working across portfolios including IHG, Star Entertainment Group and BE Sydney as well as six years with Accor.
