The Australian travel industry is mourning the sudden passing of Catharine Thorburn, Allure Travel by CTM.Cath, as she was known among family and friends, was an icon in this industry and her adventurous spirit was known far and wide.Many suppliers and fellow industry members will have had the pleasure of meeting, travelling with and working with Cath during her career.”Her mischievous nature ensured there was never a dull moment when she was around,” described her colleagues at Allure Travel by CTM. “We hope you all have fond memories of time spent in her company.”
“She loved her family deeply and enjoyed creating fun memories together, at home and abroad,” the team added.

Cath’s family has decided to hold a private ceremony, followed by a celebration of her life in late October.

“You will be missed Lady Catharine and we are all richer for having known you. Vale Catharine Thorburn,” her work colleagues said.
