A rare opportunity to view a solar eclipse from the open sea is a highlight of Seabourn‘s newly released 2027-2028 program which offers a mix of expedition adventures and cultural deep-dives across seven continents.The 14-day Mediterranean sailing aboard Seabourn Ovation will depart Monte Carlo on 23 July 2027, offering a rare opportunity to view the solar eclipse on 2 August 2027, before finishing up in Dubrovnik.Overall, the new program offers 111 departures, 72 unique itineraries and visits to 369 destinations in 71 countries.“Whether guests are drawn to the thrill of expedition travel or the allure of exploring hidden destinations, our 2027–2028 season offers life-expanding voyages for every kind of traveller,” said Mark Tamis, President of Seabourn.
“With the intimate, yacht-like atmosphere of our ships, the genuine warmth and attentiveness of our onboard team, enriching onboard programming, and immersive shore excursions, we invite guests to explore the world’s most extraordinary destinations, all with Seabourn’s signature style of luxury at sea.”
Seabourn’s expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, will deliver 49 departures between March 2027 and April 2028, ranging from 8 to 94 days. These immersive journeys include Zodiac ice landings, rare wildlife encounters, and culturally rich experiences in regions like Antarctica, the Arctic, the South Pacific and Australia’s Kimberley coast. The season also marks the debut of Seabourn’s first-ever “Pole-to-Pole Grand Expedition,” a sweeping 94-day journey from the High Arctic to Antarctica.Meanwhile, the line’s ocean ships — Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Quest — will explore Alaska, Japan, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and Canada & New England, with itineraries designed to access smaller ports and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
