Fairmont Hotel MacdonaldA 2024 renovation of the Edmonton landmark breathes new life into guest rooms and meeting spaces while preserving the hotel’s storied past. Original 1915 emblem door handles, artwork crafted from century-old photographs, and painstakingly hand-painted ballroom ceilings – restored over 1,000 hours – capture the spirit of the city’s rich heritage.Fairmont Le Montreux PalaceIn April 2025, Fairmont Le Montreux Palace unveiled a sweeping renovation of 120 lake-view rooms and its iconic façade. The careful restoration preserves the hotel’s Belle Époque charm while integrating modern comforts and sustainable upgrades.Fairmont OrchidThe hotel on Hawaii Island completed its multimillion-dollar transformation in June 2025. The renovation spans all 540 guest rooms and suites, the exclusive Gold Floor and meeting spaces. Inspired by the island’s natural beauty, the design weaves together oceanic flow, local topography, and traditional Hawaiian craftsmanship.Hamilton Princess & Beach ClubIn May 2025, this Fairmont-managed hotel unveiled the transformed Bermudiana Wing, marking a major milestone during the hotel’s 140th anniversary. Featuring six versatile one-bedroom suites (convertible to two-bedroom configurations), the redesign showcases specially commissioned local artwork and emphasises eco-conscious hospitality. As Bermuda’s only Green Key-certified hotel, it sets a new standard for sustainable luxury in the Caribbean.Fairmont Banff SpringsSet in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, Fairmont Banff Springs introduces the reimagined Gatehouse Suite in June 2025. Designed for multigenerational travel, the new family suites offer a thoughtful blend of comfort and adventure—ensuring unforgettable stays for guests of all ages against the backdrop of Banff’s natural beauty.The SavoyIn June, the London icon revealed a bold new design for its rooms and suites. Led by award-winning design studio G.A. Group, the redesign fuses Edwardian and Art Deco influences with modern sophistication, featuring rich textures, bespoke furnishings and elevated colour palettes to appeal to the contemporary traveller.Fairmont Grand Hotel GenevaSlated for completion in 2026, this Geneva landmark is undergoing a sweeping renovation by Victory Group, emphasising sustainability. The transformation includes a complete redesign of over 400 rooms, a restored lake-facing façade with new loggias, and an elevated seventh floor with larger, more luxurious spaces.Fairmont SouthamptonFairmont Southampton is currently undergoing the largest hospitality redevelopment in Bermuda’s history – a US$550 million project set to be completed by Summer 2026.
