Tennis champion Jannik Sinner has been named as the new global brand ambassador for Explora Journeys, in a partnership deal signed just ahead of his appearance at the US Open.

The collaboration aims to reflect the alignment between Sinner’s disciplined approach to tennis and Explora Journeys’ commitment to delivering transformative ocean travel, according to the cruise line.

“Jannik embodies the values at the heart of Explora Journeys – authenticity, excellence, and a commitment to wellbeing,” Explora Journeys Global President Anna Nash said.

“This collaboration represents a fresh approach to brand ambassadorship – one rooted in authenticity and shared values rather than simple endorsement.”

Central to the partnership is Explora Journeys’ philosophy, The Ocean State of Mind – a concept inspired by the sea’s ability to create “calm, clarity, and connection”. These ideals strongly resonate with Sinner’s personal mindset.

“For me, wellness is not just about training – it’s about recovery and balance,” said Sinner. “I believe in the power of nature and mindful routines, and I see those values reflected in every experience with Explora Journeys.”

The partnership was unveiled during an exclusive event at The CORE: Club in New York City, where Sinner participated in a candid Q&A session, discussing his wellness philosophy and the importance of balance in high-performance environments. He also shared his enthusiasm for co-creating exclusive onboard wellness activations with Explora Journeys.

Sinner will be featured in upcoming campaigns and his team will sport the Explora Journeys logo during major tournaments.

This visibility strengthens the brand’s presence in the world of elite sports, following previous activations such as the transformation of EXPLORA II into a floating hotel during the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.
