From October 2025, La Dolce Vita Orient Express will offer two golf-themed itineraries: “Northern Greens” and “Italian Swing.” The new voyages were announced this week in a newsletter sent by Orient Express. Both itineraries are four nights and operate round-trip from Rome. Each is also guided by an internationally renowned golfer. The “Northern Greens” route begins at the Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome—home of the 2023 Ryder Cup—before making its way through northern and central Italy. Guests can play among the vineyards of Franciacorta near Brescia, mountains of Royal Park I Roveri in Turin, hills of Antognolla in Umbria and the “thermal serenity” of Terme di Saturnia in Tuscany.
The second route, “Italian Swing,” takes travellers southward. Starting from Marco Simone, it ventures to the sunlit greens of San Domenico in Puglia, continuing its journey towards the Tuscan countryside of Castiglion del Bosco to end the itinerary at the Argentario Golf. These itineraries join the eight previously announced “Made in Italy” itineraries. Among these other voyages are one-way journeys from Rome to Venice (and reverse), as well as culinary-themed itineraries, including one that visits the vineyards of Tuscany and another, enticingly named “The Truffle Route.”
