Latte Luxury News Media Contest Terms And Conditions

Outlined here is the information that pertains to entries into the LATTE U.S. launch contest offered by Explora Journeys and Latte Luxury News Media. Participation in this contest is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Contest Period: The Contest will run from 2 September through to 31 October 2025 at 11:59pm (ET). For entries to be considered they must be received before expiration of the contest period. All requirements, including providing information required and any contest content, must be completed in order for entries to be valid.
2. Eligibility: The contest is open to U.S. residents over the age of 16, currently employed within the travel industry, and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Employees (and their immediate families) of Latte Luxury News Media and its associated agencies with any promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. How to Enter: There is one method of entry: Complete all the mandatory fields in the entry form and tell us, in 50 words or less, what you think will Tell us, in 50 words or less, what you think will be the next big trend in luxury cruising.
4. Selection of Winner and Prize: The Grand Prize will consist of a 7 night Caribbean cruise in a double occupancy cabin with Explora Journeys with a retail value of approximately $10,000 USD. Certificate is valid on any 7N Caribbean journey departing in 2025 or 2026. The certificate is applicable to Ocean Terrace Suite (OT1), double occupancy and subject to availability on the selected sailing. Certificate is not applicable to designated blackout dates set by Revenue. Recipient may upgrade the booking at the cost difference between the OT1 rate and the category of choice, subject to availability, but not including the Owner’s Residence. Certificate will cover the Journey fare only. Please allow up to seven (7) business days for certificate to be processed. Only the guest provided the certificate can utilise the certificate. This certificate is non-transferable, confirmation is subject to availability. Additional restrictions, conditions and limitation may apply. Winners will need to fund their transport to and from the cruise point of departure. The winning entry will be selected based on the following criteria, as determined by the editors of Latte Luxury News Media. The participant with the most creative, succinct and insightful answer to the Contest Question will be deemed the winning entry. The winner will be notified using the contact information provided by the entrant in its original contest submission on or about the 7th of November 2025. The winners must comply with and assent to all Contest rules as published and confirm eligibility. In the event that a winner submitted invalid contact information or does not respond to Latte Luxury News’ communication within seven (7) days, the winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected according to these same Contest rules.
5. Taxes: All prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except at the Latte Luxury News Media’s sole discretion. Any substitution of prizes will be of an equal or greater value. Awards consist only of those items specifically listed as part of the prize–any items, costs, or expenses not specifically listed as part of the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are winner’s responsibility.
6. License; Intellectual Property: All contest entries become the property of Latte Luxury News Media and may be used by Latte Luxury News Media in its sole discretion. By accepting a prize, each winner hereby consents to the use by Latte Luxury News Media and its related companies of such winner’s name, photograph, likeness, biography, and contest entry for advertising and promotional purposes, in any and all media (including online announcements) now or hereafter known, without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law.
7. General Rules:
   – Only one entry per person will be permitted. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
   – Latte Luxury News Media reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at Latte Luxury News Media’s discretion. Failure by Latte Luxury News Media to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
   – Any additional costs associated with redeeming a prize are not included.
   – All prizes must be taken as offered. Prizes, or any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash unless otherwise specified. Prizes are valued in U.S. dollars. Latte Luxury News Media accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
   – In the event that a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable, Latte Luxury News Media reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize.
   – Prizes that include an external company component (such as a hotel, airline or cruise company), must work within the requirements and policies of the external company. Prizes are subject to black-out periods and availability. Changes to bookings may arise at the discretion of these external companies, and Latte
   – Luxury News Media is not responsible for any changes to flight times, flight dates, booking changes, room availabilities and other booking inclusions that are beyond its control. Latte Luxury News Media is not responsible for passport, visa or other travel requirements when leaving the country.
   – If the contest or promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond Latte Luxury News Media’s reasonable control, Latte Luxury News Media reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
   – Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Latte Luxury News Media assumes no responsibility for electronic hardware, programming, or software malfunctions, or failures, or line connections, accessibility or availability, or technical failures of any kind, or unauthorized human intervention, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of any entry or other information, or for the failure to capture any such information. Signature is neither responsible nor liable for any late, lost or misdirected mail (including but not limited to prizes).
8. Disclaimer of Warranty. Entrants acknowledge that Latte Luxury News Media, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, representatives and contest administrators have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law relative to any prize or the Contest including but not limited to quality, condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, Latte Luxury News Media (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Latte Luxury News Media’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Latte Luxury News Media (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

11. Requests for a list of the winners of this Contest must be postmarked on or before the thirtieth (30th) day following announcement of the winner.
