Transcend Cruises will introduce two-room luxury suites to Europe’s rivers when Transcend Connect launches in April 2026, with the cruise line claiming the new offering as an industry first. The two-room suite will not use a “clever partition”, Transcend insisted, instead offering a “true residence on the river” with a generous living room and a private bedroom. According to the cruise line, it will be “the first and only European river cruise ship with full, two-room luxury suites”.“For executive retreats, it means leaders finally have the privacy and space to both work and recharge,” the cruise line said. “For multi-generational buyouts, it means comfort that rivals the best on land. For destination weddings, it means a suite experience worthy of the moment.”
Transcend Connect is the first of two new Transcend vessels destined for Europe’s rivers, with sister ship, Transcend Evolve, to follow in the second quarter of 2026.In May, Lindblad Expeditions revealed it would making a serious play for the luxury river cruise market, signing a multi-year charter deal with Transcend for use of its newbuild vessels for an initial period until at least 2028.
