Signature Travel Network on 3 September kicked off its annual Owners’ Meeting in San Diego at the Hotel del Coronado, which is just off a US$550 million renovation. The event has brought together more than 500 Signature agency owners, preferred partners and Signature leaders.

Guided by the 2025 event theme “Evolve,” the four-day Owners’ Meeting will comprise multiple general sessions, partner appointments, interactive “Brain Dates” and workshops. Shareholders will also vote on new board members for the upcoming term.

Strong Year-Over-Year Sales

Ahead of the conference, Signature shared it saw 15% growth in same-store preferred partner sales in and, despite the considerable change and shifting booking patterns of 2025, preferred sales are up over 8% compared to same-time last year (STLY).

Looking into these trends further, Signature’s Destination Specialists business is up with nearly 26% growth in 2025, while Active Adventure, FIT and Luxury tour providers are also up double digits in 2025 compared to STLY.

Once again river cruise is up more than 20% in 2025, and 2026 is pacing more than 20% above where 2025 was pacing at this point in 2024. Deluxe cruise is up more than 20% in 2025 compared to STLY and Expedition cruise is also up 28% in 2026 compared to 2025 STLY.

Preferred Hotel & Resort program year to date sales are strongly up at 11%, with Central America, South Pacific and Asia as the regions with the highest double-digit year over year growth.

Preferred insurance partner revenue is up 7%.

Travel Elevates

The Travel Elevates charity dinner and auction, sponsored by Carnival Corporation, will serve as a centrepiece of the event. The evening is both a celebration and fundraiser for Travel Elevates, Signature’s nonprofit foundation that supports sustainable community programs in travel destinations around the world.

Proceeds from the live and silent auctions will benefit the 2026 Travel Elevates Global Impact Grants. In 2025, eight grants were awarded in Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Peru, Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia. These focus on educational training for students and educators, school construction, sustainable fishing program, commercial sewing program for women entrepreneurs and the creation of three first-ever technology centres.
