Smartflyer Australia, Goldman Group’s venture with Smartflyer USA and partners Brent Wallace and Stuart Reay, has reported experiencing significant growth in numbers and business rebound in the past four months.“The pandemic had a silver lining for all our businesses. It showed us the resilience of our teams and their determination and commitment to our company and business. This is so true for our Smartflyer Australia business,” said Anthony Goldman, Joint Managing Director of Goldman Group.

Smartflyer Australia, a Virtuoso network member, has seen an increase in the number of independent contractors joining the business – with advisors joining from within the industry and several from outside.Brent Wallace, Smartflyer Australia Director said:“We love the fact that even in these times, we are attracting new entrants into the industry. Those with a passion for travel who see the light and opportunity to build their own travel business coming out of the recent pandemic period.”
The business has witnessed a 75% increase in activity since September 2021, with booking levels reaching 65% of the 2019 volume.“We attribute this increase to the entrepreneurial nature of our ICs and their fight for business,” adds Goldman.
“We always encourage our Smarties to think outside the box and give them the tools they need to run their own businesses – in their own style and time,” Goldman said.
