Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) was in Sydney and Melbourne last week (10-14 October) together with five of its hoteliers representing seven properties around the world, for the first physical roadshow back Down Under since the pandemic.Attending were SLH member representatives from New Zealand (The Bay of Many Coves and The George), the Cook Islands (Little Polynesian Resort and Pacific Resort Aitutaki), Maldives (Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences) and London (Vintry & Mercer and The Ampersand Hotel).

The hoteliers were thrilled to meet with familiar travel advisors such as Spencer Travel, Executive Edge and Wentworth Travel in person again, as well as some of Australia’s key media over lunch at Bar Conte in Surry Hills in Sydney.

SLH established its Sydney regional office in Australia in April of this year, a testament to the importance of the Australian market for the brand.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World is already looking forward to organising three more roadshows next year, with one as early as February 2023, to meet with more trade partners.
