Royal Caribbean International and Nine Network Australia have announced a partnership in the form of a one-hour television special, ‘Australia’s Mega Cruise Ship’. Hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski, the programme will be filmed aboard Australia’s largest and most feature-packed ship, Explorer of the Seas, and is designed to give viewers an insight into the world of cruising, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at life on-board.‘Australia’s Mega Cruise Ship’ will feature interviews with the ship’s crew and will follow the real-life holidays of a young family of four, and a veteran cruising couple. Viewers will join them on their high-energy activities, witness world-class dining, and plenty more.Royal Caribbean’s commercial director, Adam Armstrong, explains the partnership. “Cruising is Australia’s fastest-growing travel sector and as a long-time fan of travel TV shows, I am thrilled to be working with the Nine Network to create this special programme. The beauty of television is the ability to bring to life all the amazing features onboard our ships. This TV special gives a real taste of life on board a Royal Caribbean cruise, giving those thinking of a cruise holiday – and those who are new to the ship – a better idea of what to expect.”‘Australia’s Mega Cruise Ship’ aired on Nine Network on Thursday 28 January 2016 at 7:30pm.
