Virtuoso Travel Week 2025 has kicked off Las Vegas, with more than 4,800 top luxury travel professionals from 107 countries gathering for a frenzied week of collaboration, connection, and strategic growth.Now in its 37th year, the event runs from 9 to 15 August across four properties: Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, and Vdara. A cornerstone of Virtuoso’s global network, this year’s event features more than 100,000 matched appointments — a 40% increase on 2024. In addition, there will be “tens of thousands” of additional connections made through both assigned and self-selected meetings.The week launched with immersive Community Globetrotting sessions highlighting passion-point travel categories including cruise, wellness, family, and sustainability. With more than 600 advisors and 120 partners participating, Virtuoso reports high engagement and tangible sales impact.

Tech also took center stage during the fourth annual Travel Tech Summit, led by Gilad Berenstein. Attendance nearly doubled to over 500 guests, reflecting strong interest in technology’s growing role within the Virtuoso ecosystem.At Sunday’s Opening Session, Jennifer Campbell, Senior Vice President, Global Events, noted the flexible, multifaceted nature of the week. “Virtuoso Travel Week is no longer one event, but multiple events allowing attendees to plan how they spend their days,” she said. “This week is about configuring their time to focus on what is most important to them.”She announced a 30% increase in Virtuoso events for 2026, totalling 90 globally.

Meanwhile, Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew D. Upchurch reaffirmed the network’s commitment to blending innovation with human touch. “We’ve always believed that human connection would be the key to sustained competitive advantage – not in opposition of technology, but in concert with it,” he said.“Virtuoso has been on a journey to dive deeper into what it means to humanise the exceptional that differentiates us from tech-only solutions. I’m proud of our growing and vibrant technology ecosystem – one that enhances rather than replaces human connection through solution providers and configurations that are as unique as the many ways our members and partners deliver value. “I believe our futures depend on how we live in two rapidly changing ecosystems – technological and human – not just coexisting but actively blending and enhancing the two.”
Keynote speaker Will Guidara emphasised that hospitality “transcends service to create lasting, emotional experiences,” while EVP David Kolner shared that Virtuoso’s 2025 sales are up 12% year-on-year, with future bookings for 2026 and 2027 up 24%.Additional highlights included updates from Virtuoso’s global leadership on regional strategy, partnership engagement, and innovative tools with Senior Vice President Global Products Helen McCabe-Young introducing the Social Media Content Centre, already adopted by over 2,800 advisors and reaching nearly three million travellers.
