Viking has opened bookings for its 2027 and 2028 ocean and expedition voyages, with the program featuring the inaugural itineraries for its new ocean ship

Into the Antarctic Circle. Setting sail from Buenos Aires and finishing up in Ushuaia, the voyage visits two countries over 15 days and is priced from $22,695 per person. It will allow travellers to cross the 66°33′ line of latitude – described as “an honoured milestone among polar explorers.” Scientific discovery will be enhanced by resident experts from the University of Cambridge’s Scott Polar Research Institute and Scripps Institution of Oceanography.“Our guests are curious travellers who like to connect with the destinations they visit in a meaningful way,” said

With more than 100 itineraries now available, destinations range from the fjords of Norway to the glaciers of Greenland and the canals of Panama. Each voyage is crafted to foster cultural immersion, with excursions like hearing firsthand accounts from residents of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, and watching the dances of the Māori.
To mark the launch, Viking is offering a limited time offer – add any extension to a 2026, 2027 or 2028 ocean or expedition voyage and save up to $3,000 per couple when booked by 1 September 2025.
