Explora Journeys celebrated its Virtuoso partners who have demonstrated unwavering support since the ultra-luxury brand’s launch at a lavish dinner held at Ocean Prime in Las Vegas, earlier this month. The event coincided with Virtuoso Travel Week, which itself welcomed more than 4,800 participants from around the world.Now with two ships in service, a third to arrive next August, and a further three sister-ships in the pipeline, Explora Journeys previewed highlights of new itineraries and destinations the brand will visit in 2026 and 2027. A highlight of the evening was celebrating the top 20 Virtuoso agency performers.

Virtuoso Global Award Wins

Explora Journeys itself was recognised by Virtuoso and its network of luxury advisors, collecting two awards at the 37th annual Virtuoso Global Gala in Las Vegas on the final evening of Virtuoso Travel Week.The awards celebrate those who are shaping the future of luxury travel through integrity, outstanding service and unforgettable experiences.This August marks the two-year anniversary of the cruise line being in operation with the launch of EXPLORA I in August 2023.
Explora Journeys won awards for ‘Best Ocean Luxury Cruise Experience‘ which heralds the cruise line that offers the best overall ocean cruise experience to Virtuoso travellers, while Chris Austin, North America President for Explora Journeys, collected the gong for Virtuoso’s Cruise Ambassador. This category recognises a member and partner who stand out for their support, amplification and engagement within Virtuoso. They have made a measurable impact on the network’s cruise sales and innovation.
