Silver Cloud has officially set sail on its Grand South Pacific Expedition 2025, a 75-day immersive journey that spans 58 destinations across 11 countries.The Silversea vessel departed Fremantle on 19 August to follow Australia’s coastline, including the Kimberley Coast, before heading to Indonesia. Guests will then experience remote corners of Asia, the South Pacific and South America in what the cruise line labelled “the most enriching journey available in the region.”“From the remote shores of rarely visited gems like Palmerston Island, Adamstown, and Robinson Crusoe Island, to the iconic Kimberley Coast, Bora Bora, and Easter Island, the variety of experiences available to our guests during the Grand South Pacific Expedition 2025 is entirely unique,” Silversea President Bert Hernandez said.

The itinerary includes cultural highlights such as the Asaro Mudmen, the Baining Fire Dancers, and exclusive overnight calls in the Abrolhos Islands, Pitcairn Island, and Easter Island, before finishing in Valparaiso, Chile on 2 November.“There is no better way to connect with a region — its people, cultures, and landscapes — than by joining us on an extended voyage,” Hernandez continued.“And with a stellar line-up of expedition experts set to enhance the sailing for guests on this 75-day journey, our guests will once again enjoy the most personalised access to many of the world’s most enriching destinations, as they travel in Silversea’s signature level of comfort.”
Grand South Pacific Expedition 2025
Guests will also experience two exclusive events. On 6 September, guests will experience “Finniss River Lodge: A Northern Territories Adventure” near Darwin, Australia, featuring panoramic wetlands, native wildlife, and an authentic Territory-style lunch. Later, on 24 October, Silversea will host “Toki, A Hope for the Future” on Easter Island — a cultural event at Toki Rapa Nui led by local pianist Mahani Teave.With just 254 guests, Silver Cloud has four dining options, butler service in every suite and a nearly 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio. The ship is equipped with 20 Zodiacs, 10 kayaks and up to 25 expedition experts.
