The newly unveiled Amansamar destination in Saudi Arabia’s Wadi Safar will be home to an Aman hotel and residences, with the 80-key Aman hotel to be the brand’s first in Saudi Arabia.
Amansamar, set within Diriyah’s prestigious Wadi Safar master plan, is designed to reflect the values of the surrounding desert landscape. The name itself fuses “Aman,” meaning peace, with “samar,” the Arabic tradition of storytelling at dusk — an intentional cultural reference that underpins the development’s concept.
“The launch of Aman Residences, Amansamar, marks a defining moment for Aman in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, said. “Reflecting our deep respect for the country’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, and traditions, Aman Residences, Amansamar will introduce an unmatched standard of privacy, design, and service that is synonymous with the Aman lifestyle.”

Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Architects, the hotel will feature panoramic views and Aman’s signature approach to “immersive tranquility”. Guests will enjoy expansive amenities including an Aman Spa featuring a hammam and banya, a racquet club, dining venues, swimming pools and access to the exclusive global Aman Club.
With sales now open for the Amansamar Residences, Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company, described the launch as a “significant milestone” for the Wadi Safar master plan.
“We are enormously proud to be partnering with Aman Group, a truly exceptional developer of unique places to stay and to live in. Amansamar will be an outstanding addition to our growing hospitality portfolio,” he said.
Located just minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diriyah, the Aman hotel at Amansamar will offer guests a rare combination of heritage, luxury and seclusion. It joins a growing list of international hospitality brands entering Diriyah, where nearly 40 world-class resorts and hotels are set to redefine tourism and lifestyle experiences in the Kingdom.
