For a strictly limited time only, APT is offering free return flights, including air taxes of up to $200 per person, when guests book to sail on one of its luxury cruises around Antarctica.The deal is available on APT’s 13-day Classic Antarctica Cruise departing 2 or 22 February 2017.Couples who book to travel on either departure will receive free return economy flights to Argentina, flying with LATAM airlines or an airline of APT’s choosing.Priced from $15,790 per person, twin share, guests will spend a night in Buenos Aires before transferring to Ushuaia to board their cruise, sailing the Antarctic Peninsula in style aboard Le Boréal.This ultra-luxurious 200-passenger expedition ship offers two restaurants, a theatre, library, gym, theatre, hairdresser and medical centre. Guests will also enjoy informal lectures from some of the expert naturalist guides and explorers who accompany the cruise.The ship cruises around the Antarctic Peninsula, offering a flexible itinerary to ensure guests maximise their discovery. Activities include Zodiac rides through towering glaciers and viewing Gentoo, chinstrap and Adélie penguins; Weddell crabeater, leopard and Antarctic fur seals; and keeping watch for hunting orca, breaching humpback and minke whales.The cruise may also stop at Port Lockroy, an active scientific base studying Gentoo penguins. Alternate shore landings are arranged to ensure guests are able to access all excursions.After sailing back across the Drake Passage to Ushuaia, guests conclude their cruise with a flight back to Buenos Aires, overnighting before making their onward journey.Included in the price are: 31 meals, complimentary drinks during the cruise, return flights from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, an APT Tour Director and expedition team, butler services for suites, 24-hour room service, a jacket and a beanie and rental of boots; and all port charges and tipping.This offer is strictly limited and is available until sold out.
