Qatar Airways celebrates inaugural flight to Canberra

LATTE was among the media guests invited to attend the arrival of the inaugural Qatar Airways Doha to Canberra flight at Canberra Airport on 13 February 2018.LATTE boarded the flight in Sydney as it made a stop, experiencing the Business Class QSuite which will be available on all flights departing Canberra by June 2018.The Qsuite enables guests to fly in complete privacy and has a unique family compartment, making Qatar the first airline to offer a lie-flat double bed in Business Class.Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, hosted a press conference at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra the next day. He highlighted the award-winning airline’s robust expansion plans, as well as its commitment to bringing more travellers to Australia, and to connecting Canberrans to its extensive global network via the award-winning Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha.
