Swissôtel Berlin has equipped each of the 316-rooms in the hotel on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm with SuitePads for all guests to use.The devices digitally offer information that was previously available only on paper and needed to be reprinted regularly with each new update.Guests can now place orders for room service, select from the pillow menu and access concierge services in a few digital steps. The SuitePad also includes easy access to the TV programme, important local phone numbers and information on Berlin’s tourist attractions.Only a few weeks after the devices were distributed, both guests and the General Manager of Swissôtel Berlin, Michael Möcking, are impressed: “Direct communication is now significantly easier for our guests, and even more important to us is that the SuitePads are sustainable.”
