Anwar Chaudhry, Interim President and CEO, Destination CanadaDestination Canada‘s CEO and President, David Goldstein, has departed the organisation after nearly five years in the role. The tourism chief has joined Ottawa-based Gusto Worldwide Media as its Chief Executive Officer, a move that was revealed last month.“The shifts we have made as an organisation are as a result of his strong leadership and passion for the industry,” Destination Canada said.Goldstein has been replaced on an interim basis by Anwar Chaudhry, Destination Canada’s current Senior Vice President, Finance and Risk Management and Chief Financial Officer. Chaudhry will be supported by an elevated role for all the tourist organisation’s Vice Presidents.Destination Canada thanked Goldstein for his tenure, sharing the below message on LinkedIn.
