Emirates has taken the final step in the restoration of its Australia capacity following the pandemic, announcing its return to Adelaide. A daily service will relaunch between the South Australia capital and the airline’s Dubai hub on 28 October 2024.

Plaza Premium Group has launched the only international lounge at Adelaide Airport since the current terminal was opened in 2005.

Fiji Airways will relaunch services between Nadi and Adelaide, effective 4 July 2022, after a three hiatus. The news was revealed at the opening of the Fijian Tourism Expo which kicked off in Nadi last night.

Virgin Australia has unveiled its “Lounge of the future”, with the opening this week of its Adelaide Airport Lounge. Accommodating up to 283-seated guests, the Adelaide Lounge completes Virgin Australia’s network of seven domestic lounges around Australia. All future Lounge refurbishments around the domestic network will be done in line with this new and fresh design.

Adelaide has today [Tuesday 18 December] welcomed Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) new Airbus A350-900 medium-haul aircraft as it made its inaugural flight from Singapore to Adelaide.
