Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, has launched its Green Collection, bringing under one umbrella nearly 200 hotels, resorts and palaces operated by GHA hotel brands that are demonstrating their commitment to protecting people and the planet.

Avani Hotels & Resorts has officially opened its latest resort and the first in Thailand’s southern beach town of Krabi – Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort.

Minor Hotels, the owner of brands including Anantara Hotels Resorts Spas, Avani Hotels & Spas, Oaks Hotels & Resorts and Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, has acquired the Golden Door Elysia Health Retreat and Spa in the Hunter Valley.

Avani Hotels & Resorts is entering the Cambodian market with the launch of FCC Angkor – Managed by Avani. Following an extensive US$7 million renovation which includes the addition of 60 new rooms, the hotel is set to reopen its doors in the second quarter of 2019.

Avani Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio in Thailand with the launch of the Avani+ Samui resort on Phang Ka Bay, near Taling Ngam on Koh Samui’s southwest shore. Avani+ Samui is designed as a seaside hideaway ideal for couples or families.
