Daydream Island Resort

Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef-based resorts of Hamilton Island, Daydream Island and Hayman Island have been temporarily forced to close for an indefinite period as a result of the Australian Government’s new ban on non-essential domestic travel, fuelled by the coronavirus pandemic.

Two years after the devastation of Cyclone Debbie, the revamped resort on Hayman Island is back, better than ever. It’s one of three Whitsunday islands resorts to re-open in 2019, joining Daydream Island Resort and Elysian Retreat, Long Island.
