In the latest evolution of destination-focused experiences from Azamara Cruises, the cruise line has launched ‘Discover What the Locals Know’ – an initiative designed to change how its guests experience each port of call.

Already known for its Destination Immersion and Extended Destination Days offerings, Azamara Cruises plans to take its guests even deeper into the places it visits in 2025-2026 with the launch of Destination Immersion Elevated.

David R. Siewers, formerly of Celebrity Cruises, will join Azamara Cruises as Chief Sales Officer, International, effective 22 May 2025.

Reservations are now open for Azamara Cruises’ 2027 World Cruise aboard Azamara Quest – the cruise line’s longest cruise to date.

Azamara Cruises’ new CEO will evaluate new-build ships or acquisitions in order to further raise the profile of the boutique cruise line. Azamara Cruises has commenced a new era as Dondra Ritzenthaler officially commenced in the position of Chief Executive Officer. The former Celebrity Cruises executive was named as new CEO in November 2023 following the sudden departure of former President Carol Cabezas.
