The US$16 million Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal in South Africa’s main port of Durban has been officially inaugurated by the country’s President Cyril Ramaphosa ahead of the start of South Africa’s 2023/2024 cruise season.
Mouths were masked but thousands of eyes were smiling at Africa’s Travel Indaba in Durban this week, back after a two-year break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
MSC Cruises has broken ground on the construction of a new world-class cruise terminal in Durban, South Africa. The Durban Cruise Terminal is slated to be operational by January 2021.
