Setting sail for the first time in Europe, Celebrity Cruises flagship vessel, Celebrity Ascent℠ has commenced its maiden season in the Mediterranean with a 9-night Italian Riviera and France itinerary, departing on Saturday 27 April.

Greek brothers, Dimitrios and Tasos Kafetzis, have been named co-captains of Celebrity Cruises’ fourth Edge Series ship, Celebrity Ascent, debuting later this year.

Celebrity Cruises christened its newest and most luxurious ship to date, Celebrity Beyond, at a gala in Fort Lauderdale over the past weekend. The event was held in advance of Celebrity Beyond’s inaugural season sailing from Florida.

Celebrity Cruises’ third Edge class series ship, Celebrity Beyond, has successfully completed her sea trials and returned to the Chantiers de l’ Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, Franc for final fit-out.

Celebrity Cruises christened Celebrity Apex at an event in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida last week ahead of the vessel’s debut Caribbean season.

Celebrity Cruises has revealed a new luxury program of wellness that will be offered aboard Celebrity Beyond, the third Edge-Class ship launching in 2022.

Celebrity Cruises has taken delivery of its second Edge series ship, Celebrity Apex, in what is believed to be the first virtual delivery of a cruise ship.
