Expedition Cruises

In 2027, Ponant Explorations will offer 12-night voyages to the geographic North Pole aboard Le Commandant Charcot. Designed to showcase “the full magnitude of polar exploration in a shorter time frame,” these itineraries are a response to demand from the Americas’ market and complement the line’s longer North Pole voyages.

Atlas Ocean Voyages is offering a brand-new polar expedition for 2026: the Canadian Arctic Discovery, a 17-night expedition aboard World Navigator embarking on 21 September from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Off-the-beaten track destinations are the focus of Swan Hellenic’s 2025-26 cultural expedition cruises, with many of the program’s destinations never before visited by any other cruise lines.
