The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka has opened this week on the island of Kyushu in Southern Japan. Rising above Fukuoka, the luxury hotel is situated within the 111-metre tall main tower of Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City, the tallest urban lifestyle complex in the city’s core commercial district.

Fukuoka and Oita Prefectures welcomed wholesalers, tour operators and travel advisors for an evening of Japanese taste sensations and to discover more about the prefectures at an event in Brisbane last week. The function was held in anticipation of a full reopening of Japan in the near future.
