The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, celebrated its first year anniversary last month with the introduction of new promotions, programs and partnerships. Since its debut in October 2019, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney has become synonymous with warm hospitality and one-of-a-kind flair.

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts has officially taken over full ownership and operation of the former Westin, Sydney, with the landmark property now formally branded as The Fullerton Hotel Sydney. The opening today [Friday 18 October, 2019] marks the international expansion of The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts, the brand central to the waterfront precinct of The Fullerton Heritage by Marina Bay in Singapore, which includes The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore.

This week LATTE chatted with The Fullerton Heritage General Manager, Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, who was in Australia from Singapore to oversee the commencement of exterior remediation work of the Sydney General Post Office. As part of The Westin Sydney, Fullerton Hotels & Resorts will take over ownership and management of the five-star hotel and heritage-listed GPO in mid-October 2019, at which time it will rebrand as The Fullerton Hotel Sydney.

Singapore’s Fullerton Hotels & Resorts will look at opportunities beyond Sydney, and beyond Australia, as the upmarket hotel group mulls expanding its collection of heritage-focused properties to new markets.
