The inaugural Get Local expo in Sydney has been pushed back a month, from 29-30 July to 24-25 August 2021. The new event’s co-owners, Donna Kessler and Gary Bender, made the decision based on the recent COVID-19 outbreaks and various government-imposed lockdowns.

The upcoming Get Local business events showcase will now include an Education Program featuring keynotes and panel discussions.

The founders/owners of the Get Global business events show, Gary Bender and Donna Kesler, have unveiled plans for an Australia-focused event for 2021, aptly named Get Local.

Owners of the Get Global travel trade show have postponed the 2020 event in Sydney due to growing concerns over the implications of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the challenges facing buyer’s capacity to book and spend in the year ahead.

Get Global will bring two influential speakers to the award-winning MICE industry show in July; well-known trainer and author Michelle Bridges and co-founder of Four Pillars Gin Matt Jones will share their experiences and insights into branding, behaviour, lifestyle and balance.

Get Global has been awarded the highly distinguished ‘Exhibition of the Year’ title at the National Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) 2018 Industry Awards in Brisbane earlier this month.
