Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours’ Founder, Glen Moroney, says his brand is ideally positioned to swoop on the rise in small-ship ocean cruising, as rival luxury cruise operators continue to boost capacity and vessel size.

Emerald Cruises’ first ocean luxury yacht, Emerald Azzurra, was named in an intimate ceremony in Venice, Italy on 28 May 2022. In attendance were Glen Moroney, Founder and Chairman of Scenic Group (of which the Emerald Cruises brand is included), his wife Karen Moroney, Director of Project Design; along with embarking guests, key senior Emerald Cruises staff and local dignitaries.

Scenic has released the highly-anticipated first interior photos of its new six-star “Discovery Yacht”, Scenic Eclipse, as the vessel prepares for its maiden voyage from Reykjavik, Iceland to Quebec, Canada, departing today.
