Accor has inked a management contract with Dangayach Group to develop two new luxury hotels in Goa’s booming tourism market in India.

Marriott International has inked an agreement to introduce a second St. Regis Hotels & Resorts branded property to India. Partnering with Ceres Hotels Private Limited, the luxury hotel portfolio will see a “strategic conversion” of The Leela Goa into The St. Regis Goa Resort, with the transformation to commence shortly ahead of a slated opening in October 2022.

Gavin Dias, GM of Goa Tourism Development Corporation, showcased the state as part of a Goa Evening held at Doltone House Hyde Park in Sydney on Monday 14 May.
