Signature Travel Network’s Owners’ Meeting held last month in Maui, Hawaii generated more than US$2 million for the local economy, providing a positive impact for the still grieving community devastated by wildfires on 8 August that destroyed historic Lahania.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) has lauded the state’s decision to lift COVID-19 restrictions that have prevented large group gatherings, effective 1 December 2021.

On the back of a successful inaugural event last year, the 2018 Experience Aloha Business Exchange (EABE) has aimed to put the Hawaiian islands firmly back in the front-of-mind for professional conference organisers with renewed vigour.

“All of Hawaii is open for business and welcoming visitors with the hospitality, aloha, warmth and picturesque settings visitors seek in our islands. This includes Hilo, Pahoa and the Kona and Kohala coasts on the island of Hawaii. The one area that people need to avoid is lower Puna where the eruption is ongoing.”
