Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Ovolo Group have announced a partnership that, in the coming months, will see five Ovolo hotels across Australia and Hong Kong join the Wyndham hotel brand. Under the deal, Ovolo Group will continue to own and manage the Ovolo brand.

Delta Air Lines is launching two new non-stop routes from Los Angeles International Airport, with a daily service to Hong Kong beginning 6 June 2026, and three daily flights to Chicago O’Hare commencing 7 June 2026.

The launch of Hong Kong Airlines’ daily Hong-Kong-Sydney service at the weekend makes it the second local carrier to serve the route.

A sprawling development to be built around Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), entitled SKYTOPIA, will include a luxury hotel, an entertainment complex, a cultural hub and much more, according to plans unveiled this week.

Cathay Pacific will reinstate non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Rome, commencing 5 June 2025, with a thrice weekly seasonal service. The route will complement Cathay Pacific’s five weekly services to Milan, which will increase to daily over the 2025 Northern summer.
