Hawaiian Airlines says it will make its largest lounge investment at Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), set to be home to the company’s new premium lounge. Last month, Alaska Air Group announced plans to build a new lounge in Honolulu as part of its three-year strategic plan following its combination with Hawaiian Airlines. The new facility has been earmarked to debut in late 2027.

Hilton has revealed the new name for its first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in Hawaii – the former Trump International Waikiki – as Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts.

What was formerly the Waikiki Parc is mid-way through an extensive refurbishment and upgrade that commenced in October last year. Billed as “the first luxury boutique hotel in Waikiki”, bookings are now being accepted on the property’s newly launched website – www.halepuna.com.
