Last week’s ILTM Cannes – the 23rd edition of the luxury travel event which ran from 2-5 December 2024 – set a new record, with more than 85,000 scheduled meetings taking place. ILTM Cannes’ popularity shows the stedfast strength of the luxury travel, with over 10,000 attendees – growing 12%.

Personal travel managers Carli Hester and Claire Crosby were invited to represent TravelManagers Australia at the final International Luxury Travel Mart (ILTM) event on the 2023 calendar – ILTM Cannes in early December. The experience provided the pair with an invaluable opportunity to forge connections with luxury-oriented suppliers and travel advisors from across the globe amidst an elegant whirlwind of caviar and champagne, cocktail parties and one-on-one meetings.

Windstar Cruises says it intends to keep Star Legend sailing in the Mediterranean for another winter season, providing our guests with the opportunity to explore Europe and the region’s allure year-round.

Windstar Cruises has delayed its inaugural season in the Middle East, likely due to the conflict in Israel and the Gaza Strip, releasing a winter season in the Mediterranean instead. Star Legend will now offer itineraries between December 2023 and April 2024, sailing to ports including Barcelona, Nice, Florence/Livorno, Marseille and Rome. The ship will also be showcased in Cannes during the annual luxury travel showcase, ILTM Cannes.

ILTM Cannes celebrated its 21st edition last week, held between 5-8 December 2022. The global flagship event for the ILTM Portfolio brought together over 3,600 luxury travel professionals from 77 countries for a week of dedicated one-to-one meetings as well as an extensive program of networking events.

This was the week that ILTM, the world’s leading luxury travel event portfolio celebrated the 20th edition of ILTM Cannes. The global flagship event for the ILTM Portfolio – held from 6-9 December 2021 – brought together luxury travel professionals from 73 countries with over 1,300 luxury travel suppliers from across the world for a week of dedicated one-to-one meetings (over 50,000 in total!) as well as an extensive program of networking events.

Luxury hospitality company Arsenale S.p.A. in partnership with Orient Express of Accor Group have used ILTM Cannes as a platform to confirm further details of the new Orient Express La Dolce Vita train, flagged in July by LATTE.

ILTM is counting down to its return on the Côte D’Azur, with just 12 weeks until the international luxury travel industry meets in Cannes for the first time since 2019. ILTM Cannes takes place from 6-9 December 2021.

Organisers of ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) have confirmed the postponement of its annual showcase in Cannes until 2021 while revealing a new virtual series of events to take place before the end of the year.

Four days, 70,000 meetings, 6,000 industry professionals, over 100 VIP media, 1,885 exhibitors, 1,850 buyers and countless networking events – that was ILTM Cannes 2019, held last week in the French Riviera.

ILTM is set to welcome more buyers, more exhibitors and more VIP media from across the world than ever before when the 18th edition takes place in Cannes, 2-5 December, 2019. ILTM will host 1,850 buyers from across the world – including concierge companies, travel agents and private travel designers – and 30% will be new to the event.
