Forbes Travel Guide, the independent global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises, has revealed its 2024 Star Awards.

InterContinental Sydney has unveiled three new premium suites as part of its $120 million renovation which include the Presidential Opera Suite, Royal Opera Suite and Governor Opera Suite.

Sydney’s luxury hotel scene has stepped up a notch with the official unveiling this week of the re-imagined InterContinental Sydney and it has a special treat in store, not just for guests, but the general public as well.

InterContinental Sydney has confirmed a September 2022 debut for its extensive enhancements as part of its two-year, $110 million renovations.

Following a significant investment by owners Mulpha Australia Limited, the luxury Whitsunday’s resort will reopen as Hayman Island, by InterContinental.
