Red Sea Global has opened its first owned and operated resort, the ultra-luxury Shebara, in the emerging Saudi Arabia holiday destination. Shebara is the fourth resort to open its doors in the Red Sea precinct.

Red Sea Global, the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations AMAALA and The Red Sea, has signed a strategic agreement with Marriott International, Inc. to open The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA. The signing marks the fourth collaboration between the organisations, following the recent openings of The St. Regis Red Sea Resort and Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and the signing of The Red Sea EDITION.

Equinox Hotels has confirmed it will partner with NEOM in Saudi Arabia for the prodigious Treyam resort on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba. Equinox Resort Treyam is one of regions’s twelve destinations, now collectively known as Magna, in the northwest pocket of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to boost inbound tourism into Saudi Arabia and attract new segments of travellers across the airline’s extensive global network.
