From October 2025, La Dolce Vita Orient Express will offer two golf-themed itineraries: “Northern Greens” and “Italian Swing.” The new voyages were announced this week in a newsletter sent by Orient Express.

Since Orient Express first re-emerged in 2016, following a near-40-year disappearance, and its subsequent acquisition by Accor, the company is in its “most exciting phase” of its renaissance, according to Gilda Perez-Alvarado, Chief Strategy Officer of Accor and CEO of Orient Express.

La Dolce Vita Orient Express, the first Italian made luxury train, will make its much-anticipated debut today, Friday 4 April 2025, with the ambition to reinvent the very essence of travel in motion.

La Dolce Vita Orient Express has appointed three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck to lead the culinary program on board the luxury train which is on track to launch in Spring 2025. Chef Beck, with Beck and Maltese Consulting, will craft distinct dining journeys that highlight Italy’s landscapes, culture, and flavours through thoughtfully curated menus.

The highly-anticipated arrival in April 2025 of slow travel on board the brand-new ultra-luxe La Dolce Vita Orient Express in Italy is expected to be ahead of schedule, LATTE can exclusively reveal.

Reservations will open for the highly-anticipated La Dolce Vita Orient Express next month, both via a reservations centre and later, online.
