PONANT has released its Antarctic 2025/26 program, spanning October 2025 to March 2026 with 34 departures sailing eight itineraries aboard PONANT Sisterships – Le Boréal, Le Soléal, L’Austral and Le Lyrial, as well as six departures aboard Le Commandant Charcot, the world’s only luxury icebreaker.

PONANT has released its 2024/2025 sailing program of Antarctica to be operated by three ships – Le Lyrial, L’Austral and Le Boréal. Off the schedule for the 24/25 season is the deployment of the luxury icebreaker, Le Commandant Charcot.

Bookings have opened for PONANT’s Northern Hemisphere Summer 2024 voyages bound for the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Northern Europe, with 50 new sailings.

In order to provide a wide range of voyage options, PONANT has announced 19 expeditions to Antarctica scheduled between for the 2022-2023 season. These expeditions all include the unmissable Antarctic Peninsula, plus, on longer voyages, the opportunity to visit the Falkland Islands, South Orkney Islands and South Georgia.

Ponant has recommenced luxury expeditions to the Arctic following its recent restart of French voyages. Between now and September 2020, Ponant will be undertaking no fewer than five itineraries to the Arctic, four of them brand new.

French luxury cruise line Ponant has frozen operation of its entire fleet, effective 15 March 2020, and introduced flexible rebooking options in response to the current COVID-19 public health crisis. A return-to-service date remains “undetermined”, the company said in a social media post.

Ponant celebrated its new alliance with Paul Gaugin Cruises late last month when Le Boreal was moored alongside MS Paul Gaugin in Papeete, French Polynesia. It was a moment that will forever mark the history of the two cruise lines.

Ponant has rolled out two new cruise collections and an expanded range of itineraries for 2020/2021.
