PONANT EXPLORATIONS has launched sales for its 2027 Kimberley season, opening with seven departures between May and August 2027 aboard the modern and purpose-built small expedition ships Le Jacques-Cartier and Le Soléal.

Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has introduced three new expedition voyages to its program in 2026. The added sailings are chartered expedition fleet ships of PONANT EXPLORATIONS Group.

PONANT has announced the arrival of its EXPLORER ship, Le Jacques-Cartier, for the first time in Darwin after successfully completing her inaugural 2024 Japan season. The ship now sets course for her first 2024 Kimberley season, where she will embark on 13 departures from now until to September 2024.

From 2026, PONANT is extending its French Polynesian cruise portfolio with two distinct propositions, reflecting the range of experiences that the company offers. Le Jacques-Cartier will be positioned from September 2026 to March 2027 in the Polynesian and Pacific archipelagos offering a unique expedition experience, while the m/s Paul Gauguin continues its 25-year legacy of delivering authentic, culturally immersive voyages year-round.

PONANT has launched its 2025 Kimberley season with 18 departures available to book between May and September 2025. Le Jacques-Cartier returns to the region in 2025 for the second year after her inaugural season in the Kimberley this year, alongside sistership Le Soléal sailing the 10-night Australia’s Iconic Kimberley itineraries between Broome and Darwin.

PONANT has introduced an exclusive offer for the Australian and New Zealand markets with inclusive flights and transfers on the company’s entire 2024 Kimberley luxury expedition season. For a limited time, guests can take advantage of the all-inclusive flight and transfers expedition packages available on all 2024 Kimberley itineraries, with included return Economy flights available from major Australian capital cities, as well as Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington. Combined with seamless return airport transfers in Darwin and Broome, the package guarantees a smooth fly and cruise experience for PONANT guests.

PONANT is expanding its presence in India to support the company’s growth and provide a local base to address the unprecedented increase in luxury expedition cruising demand in the country.

PONANT has unveiled its new Japanese luxury expedition program for 2024 featuring sailings in the Nippon archipelago as well as three new itineraries never offered before. Commencing in March 2024, PONANT is expanding its programme with the addition of sailings in Kyushu’s islands between Kagoshima and Fukuoka, and in the Seto Inland Sea from Kagoshima to Kobe.

PONANT has added new voyages over the southern hemisphere’s summer season for 2023/24. Among the closer-to-home voyages are new itineraries that will explore the South Pacific Ocean, along with cruises through the Tropics and further afield, including the Northern Lights of Norway.
